Overview
DroneTech Workshop & Expo is a 2 day flagship outreach and capacity building event showcasing India’s rapidly evolving Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) ecosystem. It combines a curated Exhibition of drone technologies with hands on Workshops for school students, college students, researchers, startups, and the general public. The program emphasizes safe operations, applications in public services and industry, and pathways for careers and entrepreneurship.

Event Structure
The event is divided into two major parts hosted in parallel/zoned spaces within MPCST:
A. Drone Exhibition (Open to all)
- Stalls/Pods: Drone manufacturers, component suppliers, training institutes, solution integrators, academia labs, student clubs, and public sector use cases.
- Demo Zone: Net enclosed indoor demo or controlled outdoor cage (weather & permissions permitting) for safe flight demonstrations.
- Showcase Themes: Agri drones, mapping & surveying, disaster management, logistics, cinematography, FPV, AI/edge computing for UAVs, payloads & sensors.
B. Hands on Workshops (Thematic tracks)
- School Track (Grades 6–12): Drone basics, safety, parts assembly, simulator flights, coding micro drones, career pathways.
- College/Research Track Flight theory, ground control systems, mission planning, mapping workflows, data processing, intro to autonomy.
- Startup/Enthusiast Track Market landscape, compliance overview, documentation & certifications, productization, funding & GTM, B2G/B2B opportunities.
Certificates: Digital participation certificates for all workshop attendees; merit certificates for challenge winners.
